Mary (Bonnie) Lavonne Pierce, 76, of Morley, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022. A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, at Blessed Sacrament Church, 650 Stephan Ave., Waterloo, IA 50701. A visitation at the church will start at 9:30 a.m. Following service will be lunch in the pavilion.
Bonnie was born Sept. 12, 1946. She worked at Sheller Globe Corp. in Iowa City for over 20 years. Her friends and family called her Bonnie. Her great-grandchildren were the center of her world, and she loved her family dearly. Bonnie loved to be outside watching the children play and ride bikes, she loved to sew, color and knit. She was spunky and fun and if you needed anything, she would not hesitate. She was so deeply loved by her family and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by sons, Brian and wife, Crystal Pierce; and Shawn and wife, Ruby Pierce; sisters, Callene Brashear and Sheila Hutton; and grandkids, Ashley, Austin, Josh, Taylor, Zack and Peyton.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Sarah and Raymond Alexander; and beloved, Brian Pierce.
