Larry L. Smith Sr., 65, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Unionville, Mo., passed away Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022, of a Aortic Aneursym in Cedar Rapids. Celebration Of Life is to be determined at a later time.
He was born Aug. 11, 1957, in Unionville, Mo. He married Sharon Kay Akers on June 22, 1991, in Centerville. He retired in 2018 from truck driving. He loved fishing and other outdoor activities. Larry will be remembered as a loving husband, loving father and a devoted grandfather.
He is survived by wife, Sharon Kay Smith; daughter, Jennifer J. Smith; son, Larry L. Smith; stepdaughter, Lorie L. Coon; sister, Neva Gray; brothers, Jerry Smith and Ray Smith; grandchildren, Madison M. Dains, Brandon L. Dains, Stephanie L. Dains and Kalana M. Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, Ralph Smith and Pauline (Milford) Smith.
