Connie Marie Kelly, 71, of Center Point, Iowa, died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, Iowa. Private family services will be held at a later date, with burial at Center Point Cemetery. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Center Point is assisting the family.
Connie was born April 20, 1951, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Kenneth and Patricia (Gillen) Reed. She was united in marriage to Jack Kelly on Dec. 7, 1993. Connie dedicated her life to raising her children. She was a superfan of the Iowa Hawkeyes football and basketball teams.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Kelly of Center Point; children, Chrissi (Frank) Chester of Cedar Rapids, Jasen (Michelle) Westcott of Center Point and Steven Kelly of Texas; daughter-in-law, Jamie Kelly of Center Point; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; mother, Pat Reed of Hiawatha; sister, Bonnie Reed of Hiawatha; stepchildren, Christine (Mark) Havard of Gloster, Miss., Brian (Malissa) Kelly of Hana, Hawaii, and Lindy (Chris) Gerk of Monument, Colo.; and her beloved cats.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ken Reed.
