Sue Ann Harwood, 66, passed away at the UnityPoint Health-St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
A memorial visitation will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Sue was born on Aug. 23, 1956, in Evanston, Ill. She was the daughter of the late Richard R. and Barbara (Campbell) Harwood. She was a member of the Chorale Midwest in Cedar Rapids. She was a volunteer at the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, and enjoyed a long career in the Adolescent Psych unit at St. Luke’s Hospital.
Those left to cherish Sue’s memory are her brother, Richard T. Harwood of West Chicago, Ill.; and her nephews, Timothy (Laura) Harwood of Waterloo, Iowa, and Thomas Harwood of Elburn, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Scott Harwood.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Chorale Midwest, the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, and/or the Foundation 2 Crisis Services.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at UnityPoint Health-St. Luke’s Hospital for all the love and support they showed Sue, while she was in their care.
