Eastern Linn County in east central Iowa... * Until 600 PM CDT * At 501 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Bertram to near Mechanicsville, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Cedar Rapids, Anamosa, Mechanicsville, Marion, Mount Vernon, Monticello, Lisbon, Ely, Springville, Olin, Shueyville, Bertram, Martelle, Prairieburg, Morley, Center Junction, Waubeek, Stone City, Viola and Whittier.
