IOWA CITY — Iowa men’s basketball junior guard Ahron Ulis will be suspended for the Hawkeyes’ exhibition game Monday after being cited for disorderly conduct, Iowa Athletics said Thursday.
Ulis was allegedly engaged in “fighting or violent behavior in a public place or while in or near a lawful assembly of persons,” according to the criminal complaint, on Oct. 2 at 2:11 a.m.
The altercation happened at a street or alley near the Airliner, according to the complaint.
Ulis averaged 3.1 points and 2.1 assists last season.
Iowa hosts Truman State in an exhibition game Monday. The Hawkeyes’ regular-season opener is Monday, Nov. 7 against Bethune-Cookman.
