Chris Ebertsch was born on March 9, 1970, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He passed away on Oct. 6, 2022, at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colo. Chris is survived by his parents, Ted and Julie Ebertsch; his sister, Laura Barden, her husband Brett; his niece, Alexis; and two nephews, Trent and Zach. Chris’s life was celebrated with his Colorado friends in Fort Collins, Colo., on Oct. 8.
Chris suffered a heart attack in his mountain home and by the time emergency services arrived he was oxygen deprived. Unfortunately, the damage was irreversible. Chris was an organ donor and his organs are now helping several people survive. As a family, we are grateful that Chris chose to help others live a quality life. He will be missed.
