Reagen A. Romine, 20 year retired U.S. Navy veteran, passed away Oct. 17, 2022, in Iowa City. She was 53 years old.
Reagen was born Sept. 8, 1969, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Ronald and Dorothy (Wachal) Romine. Reagen was known for her bubbly personality and her sense of humor. She had a strong sense of adventure that was fed through her career in the Navy. She was able to travel and live all over the world, and enjoyed many unique hobbies including competitive kayaking and snorkeling. Reagen’s passing leaves a hole in our hearts. Her memory, kindness and love for animals will continue on through all who love her.
Reagen’s family include her cherished parents, Ronald and Dorothy; her sister, Robin (Rebecca Sandstrom) Romine; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A simple cremation has been arranged for Reagen in accordance with her wishes. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Iowa City Animal Care and Adoption Center, icanimalcenter.org.
