Casey’s is accepting grant applications from schools seeking projects that focus on making physical improvements, purchasing needed materials, supporting teachers' development and enhancing community engagement initiatives.
Grant applications will be accepted for
- Physical improvement projects that help update and improve the school through repairs, enhancements or new additions. This can include the building or classrooms or playgrounds or fields.
- Needs for supplies, technology, materials or other items that enrich the learning environment.
- Programs that week to grow the skills of teachers, offer professional development or address training resources.
- Efforts to engage students with the community such as student volunteer programs, camps or field trips.
Casey’s Cash for Classrooms Grant Program awarded $1 million to benefit K-12 public and nonprofit, private schools through 99 grants in 2021. Grants range from $3,000 to a maximum of $50,000 with funds used within 12 months of award.
An organization may only submit one application during the current grant cycle. A school can receive more than one donation if submitted by different organizations.
Applications will be accepted until Nov. 30. All K-12 public or nonprofit private schools in Casey’s 16-state footprint are eligible to apply. Cash for Classroom grant recipients will be announced in March 2023.
