Celebration of the life of Clair Rausch
There will be a celebration of the life of Clair Rausch held on Oct. 22 in Waterloo. Rausch, a longtime Iowa resident, passed away on May 6, 2022 at his home in Coralville. The gathering will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Sullivan Brothers Veterans Museum in Waterloo, Iowa. Food and drinks will be provided.
Rausch taught in high schools across Iowa, notably Tama, Charles City and Iowa City. After serving as a combat Marine during WII he returned to Iowa and obtained degrees from UNI and ISU.
Friends, family and former students are welcome at the event.
