Sharon Lee Easton, 75, of Marion, Iowa, passed away Oct. 11, 2022, at Hiawatha Care Center due to her chronic illness. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids, with a reception and inurnment following the service.
Sharon was born March 24, 1947, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She married Thomas Easton on March 12, 1970, in California. Together they had two children Theresa and Melanie. Sharon’s talents included needlework and quilting. She enjoyed antiquing and traveling. She cherished the time spent with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father and her husband.
Sharon is survived by her mother, Rachel Day; daughters, Theresa (Pete) Peterson-Easton and Melanie (Mark) Svoboda; and grandchildren, Devon (Hope), James, Dylan, Jacob and Edison.
