Julianne Elizabeth (Kessler) Godar, 75, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022, where she was reunited with her parents, Herb and Connie Hanson and Robert Kessler; her first husband, Mike Curtis; and numerous other loved ones.
She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Packingham, Shannon (Tom) Carolan and Winter Packingham; brother, Joel (Ann) Kessler; a niece; two nephews; close family friend Amy Knudsen; as well as other beloved family and friends.
Julie enjoyed playing cards, crossword puzzles, watching "General Hospital" and Hallmark movies, Carlos O’Kelly’s chips and queso and her grand-dogger Georgie.
A graveside service is set for 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7, at Spring Grove Cemetery in Covington, Iowa. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
