Lois Irene Greene (Berning), 77, of Solon, passed peacefully on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022 at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics due to complications of dementia. A funeral mass will be held on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022, at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Solon. A Celebration of Life Gathering will follow mass at the Timber Dome Lodge in Solon until 6 p.m. Please come with memories and stories to share of Lois. In honor of her love for flowers, please wear bright colors in her remembrance. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Solon is caring for the family.
