Will there be any changes at the top of next week’s Gazette Iowa high school football rankings? Two No. 1 teams lost Friday night as three put their 2-0 records on the line against ranked opponents.
5A No. 1 Ankeny lost to No. 4 West Des Moines Dowling, 17-10, while 1A No. 1 West Sioux played up a class and fell, 44-6, to 2A No. 2 Central Lyon/George-Little Rock. 4A No. 1 Lewis Central stayed unbeaten with a 49-27 win over No. 6 Norwalk.
