Grassley is a voice for farmers

As a lifelong farmer and one of only two farmers serving in the U.S. Senate, Chuck Grassley has made it a priority to fight for rural Iowa. He holds at least one Q&A in every county, every year — and has for 42 years in a row. These meetings include speaking with farmers across the state to hear what’s on our minds.
This year, in addition to record-breaking gas and diesel prices, we’ve also faced soaring fertilizer costs. Grassley successfully pushed back against fertilizer tariffs that would’ve caused prices to climb even higher. He’s also been sounding the alarm on foreign-owned farmland, working to protect our family farms and small towns from foreign buyers with ulterior motives.
From one farmer to the other, I commend Grassley for being a strong voice for agriculture in Washington. It’s nice to know we have an ally fighting for us in Congress who won’t leave any part of our state behind.
