Kevin C. Beresford, 58, of Walker, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2022, at his home. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion, Iowa. Family will greet friends from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Kevin was born on Sept. 9, 1963, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Robert and Carole (Kelso) Beresford. He was a 1982 graduate of North Linn High School. Kevin worked for Farmstead Foods, as well as a contractor and construction worker. He was a lifelong resident of the Walker/Troy Mills, Iowa, area. Kevin loved the outdoors, especially fishing, gardening and morel hunting. He enjoyed spending time with his dog, Sara. Kevin will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Kevin is survived and lovingly remembered by his siblings, Robert (Nan) Beresford of Blairsville, Ga., Teri (Phil) Mosher of Walker, Iowa, and Jennifer (Sean) Gill of Wellman, Iowa; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Carole; sister, Diana McDowell; grandparents, Harold and Erva Kelso, and Harvey and Rose Beresford; and many beloved aunts and uncles.
