William “Bill” Martin Brown, 67, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2022, at his home. A Celebration of Life will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29, at The Legacy Center at Murdoch-Linwood, 520 Wilson Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Bill was born Feb. 17, 1955, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Albert and Pearl (Zingula) Brown. He was united in marriage to Linda Anderson in 1997, in Cedar Rapids. Bill was a truck driver his working career until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing and loved making his own lures. Bill will be missed by his friends and family.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Brown; son, Chad (Kati) Brown; stepdaughter, Tara Haley; and grandchildren, Grant, Vincent and Lucas Brown and Simon Strait.
Bill was preceded in death by his father and all his grandparents.
