New Hires

Paige Owen now is with UnityPoint Clinic-Cedar Rapids Pediatrics.

Dr. Arpit Sothwal has joined UnityPoint Health-St. Luke’s Heart Care Clinic in Cedar Rapids. Marlee Hansen is now with UnityPoint Health-St. Luke’s Dental Health Center in Cedar Rapids as director.

T&K Roofing and Sheet Metal has hired Dan Mitchell service department coordinator, Mike Scott as inventory/purchasing coordinator and Eric Anderson as project manager.

Promotions

T&K Roofing and Sheet Metal promoted Cory Moel to sheet metal production coordinator; Chris Moore, field production coordinator; Darius March, field quality assurance coordinator; Kyle Smyth, production coordinator; and Glenn Sterling, warehouse/inventory supervisor.

Business openings and expansions

Home improvement company 1-800-Hansons opened a new location at 1220 Capital Dr. SW, Cedar Rapids.

Katsch Boutique, a women’s clothing boutique, has opened a location at the Iowa River Landing in Coralville. Katsch’s two other locations are in Davenport and Geneseo, Ill.

Kudos

Urbana-based Clickstop ranked No. 4,944 on the annual Inc. 5000 list. This is the 13th time the e-commerce company has been included on the list.

Board Members

Gary Wojtaszek has become a member of Involta’s board of directors.

Horizons-A Family Service Alliance named to its board of directors Quinn Pettifer as chairwoman; Adam Conzemius, vice chairman; Alissa Carson, secretary; and Kelly Edmonds, treasurer. New board members are Tara Dumolien, Eric Gutschmidt and Tiana McGuire.

Monthly in-person networking breakfasts sponsored by SCORE are held at Scott's Family Restaurant, at 7:30 a.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month through October. This coming Thursday guest speaker James Mayhew will talk about positive employee management.
