Alberta Jean Doehrmann passed away on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022, at the English Valley Care Center in North English at the age of 85 years.
She is survived by her husband, Ron; four children, Carol (Robert) Helle of Williamsburg, Steven (Terrie) Doehrmann of West Liberty, Jeffery (Kim) Doehrmann of Parnell and Michael Doehrmann of Williamsburg; 11 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two half-brothers, Tom Livingston and Garth Livingston; and a half-sister, Fran Munson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Cynthia Doehrmann; a grandson, Christopher Doehrmann; a great-granddaughter, Gloria Luers; a sister, Dorothy Hulgan; and a brother, Bruce Freeman.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 22, 2022, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg. Burial will be at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg. A memorial fund has been established for St. Paul Lutheran Church or Essence of Life Hospice.
