Darald R. Schultz, 85, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away at his home on Monday, Aug. 8, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.
A visitation will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, Aug. 17, from 4 to 6 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Westminster on Thursday, Aug. 18, at 10:30 a.m. with the Pastor Roger Grandia officiating. Interment Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Darald was born on June 2, 1937, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was the son of the late William “Bill” and Letha “Estella” (Gonterman) Schultz. He graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts Degree. He worked as an industrial engineer for Rockwell Collins where he was involved in the Apollo Project.
