Stephanie Boesenberg named Area Substance Abuse Council executive director
Boesenberg has worked at ASAC for more than 25 years

CEDAR RAPIDS — The Area Substance Abuse Council board of directors named Stephanie Boesenberg as the not-for-profit’s executive director.
Boesenberg has worked at ASAC for more than 25 years, previously having been the agency’s health information systems director. She also has served on its senior leadership team to guide the agency’s policies and procedures.
She succeeds Jeannette Archer-Simons, who was named executive director in August 2019 and whose last day there was June 17.
Cedar Rapids-based ASAC provides substance use and gambling disorder prevention, treatment and recovery service programs in Linn, Jackson, Jones, Clinton, Benton, Delaware and Dubuque counties.
It is part of the Iowa Department Public Health Integrated Provider Network.
