CEDAR RAPIDS — Cedar Rapids police said they are investigating a shooting that stemmed from road rage Monday near the corner of Underwood Avenue and Burdette Drive SW.
In a news release, police said officers were called to the scene a little before 5 p.m. for a report that shots were being fired from one vehicle toward another vehicle.
Officers found evidence of a shooting, including property damage to a nearby home, but no suspects or vehicles. After a short search, an “uninjured victim” was found, the release said. That person told police the shots were fired after a road rage incident.
Police are asking anyone with security footage that may help identify the shooter or their vehicle to reach out to investigators at (319) 286-5491.
