Praise for TCR’s “Mamma Mia”

I recently attended Theatre Cedar Rapids’ production of “Mamma Mia.” What a fabulous show. This high-energy musical was flawless! The singing, dancing, costumes, sound and scenery all meshed beautifully. The casting of the performers was perfect. Janelle Lauer was born to star in the leading role. Sophie Lindwall, who grew up performing on the TCR stage, has again shown her talent and poise in her role. As I occasionally glanced at the audience throughout the show, I could see that everyone was always smiling, as well as keeping time to the beat, and controlling the urge to get up and dance! TCR has done it again. Nothing but the best! Congratulations!
