Richard Lerch, 75 of Las Vegas, Nev., formally of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his wife and daughter. Richard loved his NASCAR and his dog Bailey.
Richard was born on Nov. 8, 1946, to Carl and Uvohn Lerch. Richard worked for the CRANDIC until retirement. Richard was united in marriage to Penny Robertson on Nov. 11, 1967.
Richard is survived by his wife, Penny, of 54 years; daughter, Michele Lerch; sister, Linda (Darwin) Sweeting; sister, Sheryl Nejdl; brother, Donald Lerch; and friend Judy Cooper; and many niece’s and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Carol; and a brother-in law.
Per his request, a Celebration of Life will be done at a later date.
