Ann Marie White, formerly from Marion, passed away suddenly July 23, 2022, at the Rehabilitation Center of Lisbon.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1790 14th St., Marion, IA 52302. The visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m also at St. Joseph’s.
Annie was born on Feb. 15, 1969, to Don L. and Joyce A. (Monaghan) White in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In 1972 when her mom married Larry Hills, she gained a bonus dad, brother, Don and two sisters, Charlotte and Karen. Ann graduated with the class of 1988 from Linn-Mar High School. Ann was a member of the St. Joseph Church in Marion, Iowa. Ann loved family gatherings, bingo and dolphins. Ann always had a smile and loved her family, especially the littlest ones.
Ann is survived by her mother, Joyce Hills; brother, Don (Deb) Hills; sisters, Charlotte Hills and Karen (Kurt) Burdick; special godmother and aunt, Mary Lee (Joe) Praetz; also aunts, Kathleen Monaghan, Gena Hills, Att Hills and Rita Hills; uncles, Pat (Lenay) Monaghan, Mike (Jeri) Monaghan and Tom (Charlene) Monaghan; special friends, Lois and Melinda; nephew, Brando (Cally) Hills; and many other nephews, nieces and cousins, all whom she loved dearly.
Ann was preceded by her dad, Larry Hills; grandparents; father; uncles, John Hills and Jim Hills; and cousins, Melissa Praetz and Chris Monaghan.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Camp Courageous are encouraged.
