Joyce Ann Kopf, 88, of North Liberty, Iowa, formerly of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Wednesday, July 27, 2022.
A visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 30, at The Legacy Center at Murdoch-Linwood in Cedar Rapids. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. Saturday at The Legacy Center.
Joyce was born Aug. 6, 1933, in Huron, S.D., the daughter of Russell and Mamie (Sage) Wodstrchill. She graduated from Blairstown High School. Joyce was united in marriage to William O. Turner Jr., on Jan. 13, 1952; he died on July 6, 1995. She later married Henry “Hank” Kopf on Sept. 30, 2006.
Joyce worked as a dietary technician at the University of Iowa Hospitals until her retirement. She was a member of United Methodist Church and joined the First Assembly of God after marrying Hank.
Survivors include her husband, Hank Kopf; daughters, Patricia (Stanley) Garmer, Deb (Rick) Boland, Laura Coomer, Linda (Derek) Coleman and Sandy (Scott) Steinfadt; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and stepchildren, Steve (Carmen) Kopf, Bruce (Jan) Kopf and Linda (Mark) Conzett; and many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents, Russell and Mamie Wodstrchill; first husband, William O. Turner Jr.; and son, William Benjamin Turner.
