Andre “Andy” M. LaBarge, 59, of Cedar Rapids, passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. No services are planned at this time. Papich-Kuba Funeral Service, Cedar Rapids, is serving the family.
Andy is survived by his wife, Lori; three children, Nicole LaBarge and Zach LaBarge, both of Cedar Rapids, and John Moses of Robins; grandsons, Jacob Moses and Leroy LaBarge; and his sister, Jeannie Nolte of Marion.
He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Monica Fadroski of Green Bay, Wis.; and his brothers and sisters-in-law, Kathy MacKay, Mike and Debbie Lahay, Mark and Amy Lahay, Michele Schabow and Tony Fadroski, all of Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Mary (Hawley) LaBarge; his sister, Jennie McEowen; and his sister-in-law, Nikki Leitch.
Andy was born Feb. 8, 1963, in Cedar Rapids, and lived there his entire life except for a brief time living in Texas. He married Lori Moses on May 14, 1999, at Ellis Park in Cedar Rapids.
Andy was a skilled carpenter working in the local area. He was a voracious reader and avid fisherman. He was also a committed “anti-establishmentarian.”
Memorial donations may be given to the Department of Natural Resources or the Cedar Valley Humane Society.
