Mary Anne Hoxworth, 89, passed away at Meth-Wick-Manor Woodlands on July 22, 2022. Services will be held Friday, July 29, 2022, at 3 p.m. with viewing at 2 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories.
Mary Anne was born on Dec. 11, 1932, daughter of Marie and Charles Holmes of Clinton, Ind. She enjoyed her summers at her parents’ ranch in Wyoming. She married Don Hoxworth on Feb. 17, 1951, in San Diego, Calif.
Survivors include daughter Marsha (Rick) Stickle of Cedar Rapids and son Darrell (Susan) Hoxworth of Basehor, Kan.; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mary Anne was preceded in death by her husband Don and her son Jeff.
Mary Anne was a good Christian woman, a loving wife of 63 years. She had an open, tender-hearted, merry spirit who was always smiling. She was compassionate and always willing to provide a listening ear.
