Juanita Ann (Kutcher) Schulte, 82, of Norway, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2022, surrounded family. She was born on the farm, east of Oxford, on March 4, 1940, to her parents, Roy J. Kutcher and MaryAnne (Bowman) Kutcher. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1958 and studied nursing at Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, Iowa City, from 1958-1961. On Oct 4, 1961, Juanita married Matt Schulte at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Oxford. Together the couple lived in Norway.
She is survived by two sisters, Helen (Mick) Schulte and Kathy (Gomer) Tandy, many nieces and nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Matt J “Junie” Schulte; her parents; two brothers, R. John Kutcher and Richard Kutcher; and one sister, Pat Piper.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at St Michael’s Catholic Church, Norway with Father Craig Steimel officiating. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, at St. Michael’s Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Camp Courageous or Unity Point Hospice. Online condolence can be sent to the family at www.neuhausfuneralservice.com
