Jonathon Beers was hired by Kerndt Brothers Savings Bank in Lansing as chief financial officer.

Promotions

Bethany M.W. Gorsch was recently promoted to vice president, treasury management and regional team leader in Hills Bank and Trust’s Iowa City office.

Accounting firm CliftonLarsonAllen promoted Andrew Stanford to manager, manufacturing and distribution; Jennifer Peterson, BizOps senior, retail; Karla Dalton, senior, wealth advisory; Mitch Taylor, manager, nonprofit; and Nate Petersburg, BizOps senior, construction.

Standard & Poor’s Global Ratings reaffirmed Mercy Medical Center’s A- credit rating.

Randy Scholer at law firm Simmons Perrine Moyer Bergman received a band 1 ranking in Chambers USA 2022 for corporate law and mergers and acquisitions; Kevin Visser for labor and employment and a band 3 for general litigation; and Stephen Holtman and Roger Stone for general litigation. Also, Matthew Hektoen received a band 4 ranking for real estate law; and Amanda D'Amico for corporate and mergers and acquisitions law.

Farm Bureau Property and Casualty Insurance Co. and Farm Bureau Life Insurance Co. were named to the 2022 Ward’s 50 group of top performing companies.
