Lourdes "Kitty" Corao de Rodriguez, d.s., 86, passed away peacefully at her home on July 12, 2022. Mass and celebration of Life will be at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, on Saturday, July 16 at 10 a.m.
Lourdes was born in Caracas, Venezuela. She was the personification of “joie de vivre”! At age 70, Lourdes left Venezuela and came to the United States and became a Naturalized U.S. Citizen. She was a devout Catholic and had a deep love for Jesus.
Lourdes is survived by her two daughters, Nathalie Malloy Yanna and Ariadne Rodriguez; and three granddaughters, Mallory, Morgan and Kelsey.
The family expresses gratitude to St. Lukes Hospice for their care and support for Lourdes with Alzheimer’s disease.
