Betty Lou Peterson, 91, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022, at Linn Manor Care Center in Marion, with her godson, Mike Little, at her side. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Saturday, July 16, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Betty was born on Aug. 5, 1930, in Stone City, Iowa, the daughter of William and Lucy (Minnis) Frasher. She was united in marriage to Henry A. “Pete” Peterson on July 22, 1972, in Rock Island, Ill. Betty worked as a CNA for over 45 years. Through her work as a dedicated, caring CNA, she was a special blessing to many families as she cared for their loved ones.
Survivors include her brother, Dave (Irene) Frasher of Marion; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; daughter, Theresa Henderson; and her siblings, Edward, William Jr., James, Richard, Robert, John Frasher, Mary Little and Kathleen Crouse.
