Lylas has joined in the afterlife with her parents; husband Elmer; brothers Lloyd, Clarence, Elmer, Leland and Marvin Witt; and son-in-law Bruce Eilers.
She is survived by her daughters, Dianne (Allen) Schneider and Brenda Eilers; grandchildren, Marc (Barbara) Schneider and Matthew (Anja) Schneider of Aachen, Germany, Nathan (Julie) Schneider of Johnston, Aaron (Melissa) Eilers of West Des Moines and Rebecca Eilers (Kirk Johnson) of Minnetonka, Minn.; great-grandchildren, Jasper, Finn, Elias and Livia Schneider of Aachen and Kai and Maximus Eilers of West Des Moines.
The family wishes to thank the Keystone Nursing Care Center for their loving care and concern over the nine years Lylas was a resident there.
