Keep the editorial page

Recently there has been discussion about removing editorial pages in newspapers around the country. I heartily vote in favor of keeping the editorial page. I read all of the columns and letters. Even though I may not agree with some of them, I value all viewpoints. The editorial section is only a page on Monday through Saturday and four pages on Sunday. Subscribers can simply skip this section if they don’t want to read it. Sports don’t interest me at all so I simply don’t read the sports section. I am not demanding that the paper remove the sports section. If your psyche is so fragile that you can’t handle reading opposing views then perhaps you need to reexamine your own ideas.
