The Cy-Hawk trophy is Iowa's for the fourth consecutive year. The Hawkeyes (2-0) defeated Iowa State 13-3 Saturday at Kinnick Stadium.
For the second week in a row, Iowa had just three points at halftime, but once again the defense was up to the task.
Iowa held Iowa State to just 188 yards, 3.4 per play. Star running back David Montgomery was stifled to 44 yards on 17 carries. Iowa has allowed just 10 points total this season.
The Hawkeyes host Northern Iowa (0-1) next week at 6:30 p.m. Iowa State (0-1) opens Big 12 play at home against No. 6 Oklahoma (2-0).
