Linda Gayle Roberts, 81, of Center Point, Iowa, died Friday, July 1, 2022, at her home. Private family services will be held. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Center Point is assisting the family.
Linda was born July 23, 1940, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Marvin and Ruth (Stoddard) Bishop. She attended Jefferson High School and went on to graduate from the University of Iowa. Linda was united in marriage to Gary Lee Roberts on May 6, 1966, in Cedar Rapids. She worked as a registrar for Mercy Medical Center until her retirement. Linda enjoyed being a member of the Greens Grove Quilt Club. She was a caring, forgiving, loving lady that Gary was honored to spend over 56 years of his life with.
Survivors include her husband, Gary L. Roberts of Center Point; daughters, Rachel D. (Brian) Stark of Monticello, Iowa, and Gayle M. Roberts of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Jeremy Brislawn of Monticello, James Brislawn of Center Point and Luke Harkness of Iowa City; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Bishop; mother, Ruth Bishop; and sister, Diane Bishop.
