Parade coverage should have included veteran leaders

I'm writing in regards to the coverage of the Freedom Festival parade. The AMVETS Post 6 Color Guard (local in Cedar Rapids) have lead the parade for years, but yet there are no pictures or coverage of that! The word “freedom” is because of our military men and women and the “festival” is all about freedom and based around the military, but yet The Gazette, KCRG, etc., are busy taking pictures of floats, kids, etc., rather than who leads the parade each and every year!
While the floats and kids are a huge part of the parade and important to the parade, being that it starts with “freedom,” the beginning should be photographed! Thank you to everyone who came out to the parade this year!
