Lavona “DeVee” Sauer, 100, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022, at Linn Manor Care Center in Marion, Iowa. A celebration of Lavona's life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2022, at United Church Of Christ, located at 38 N Fifth St., in Central City. The Rev. Vicki Engelmann will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Mount Clark Cemetery in Central City, Iowa.
