All along the Corridor and beyond, Eastern Iowa towns will be parading their patriotism this weekend, so if you love fireworks displays, here’s a guide to help you find the red, white and boom from Saturday through Monday.
One show still on hiatus is the Cedar Boat Club’s traditional July 3 fireworks show at Cedar Rapids’ Ellis Park Harbor. According to a recent Facebook post: “We are currently working on renewing club membership and activities and aggressively fundraising for what we hope to be the biggest display we’ve ever shot on July 3 next year. We are working on a way to donate online but you are welcome to send donations to our P.O. Box: Cedar Boat Club, P.O. Box 1965, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401. We are a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit and can provide a document for tax deduction purposes by request.”
