Dennis Teymer, 78, passed away June 26, 2022.
He was born May 18, 1944, to the late Joseph and Pauline (Coppess) Teymer in Anamosa, Iowa. Denny proudly served his country in the United States Army and the Naval Reserves. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Council Bluffs.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James Teymer and Louis Teymer.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Barbara Teymer; children, Sarah (Jaime) Juarez, Nathan (Phylicia) Teymer and Damian (Jennifer) Teymer; siblings, Gary (Phyllis) Teymer, Mary Jo (Dale) Noyes and Randy (Pam) Teymer; grandchildren, Josephine Teymer, Jeanie Teymer, Ismael Juarez and Ethan Teymer; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 1 Bluff St. in Council Bluffs, on Friday, July 1, 2022. Visitation will be at the church during the hour prior to the service. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery in Anamosa, Iowa, on Saturday, July 2, 2022.
The family will direct memorials.
