While fulfilling his passion for farming, Jim also served on the Benton County Fair board, acquired his pilot’s license and expressed his creativity in various projects. Of those projects, Jim’s most cherished memory was when he traveled all over the world delivering grain for food aid projects through the United Nations.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Deborah Kirk of Colorado; two grandchildren, AJ and Carter Nadolsky; eight stepgrandchildren and 16 stepgreat-grandchildren.
Jim was preceded in death by his son, Dan; and brother, David.
