Brian G. Matthes, 50, lifetime resident of Iowa City, died Friday, June 10, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Brian’s family includes his sister and her husband, Debbie and Tom Sass; and Brian’s four legged companions, his dog, Spot and his cat, Cosmo.
No public services are planned, his cremated remains will be buried at Oakland Cemetery next to his mother, Bonnie.
