Melvin Edwin Cunningham, 62, of Norwalk, entered into Heaven’s Gates, Saturday, June 4, 2022.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 13, at New Hope Assembly (4425 70th St., Urbandale). A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, also at the church. Burial will follow at Ankeny Memorial Gardens (4208 N. Ankeny Blvd).
He worked for Quick Creek, formally known as Forterra & Cretex for 43 years.
Melvin is survived by his loving wife, Rachel of Norwalk; daughters, Diana (Dan) Kent of Cedar Rapids, Traci Cunningham of Springville and Katie Hook of Des Moines; son, Michael Cunningham of Coalinga, Calif.; and 12 grandchildren, Elijah, Levi, Mitchell, Michael, Libby, Ayden, Aubree, Matthew, Evianna, Landon, Lincoln and Wyatt.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Larry, Donny and Johnny.
