Lyla LeGrand (Hanson), 66, of Bertram, Iowa, passed away on June 8, 2022, of cancer.
Lyla was predeceased by father, Clarence Hanson; sister, LaWonna Hanson; and long friend of 37 years, Chuck LeGrand.
She is survived by son, Rob Hanson (Cindy); two daughters, Kelly Haack (Eric), Skyla Siech (Taylor); and 11 grandchildren.
She was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on March 20, 1956. She went to Washington High School. She was very much in love with her three kids and 11 grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She liked working on cars and house projects. Loved camping with her family and always went above and beyond on the holidays especially Christmas!
Funeral service gathering of memories: 11 a.m. Monday, June 13, at the Stewart Baxter Funeral and Memorial in Mount Vernon. Officiating Celebrant Dawn Stevens. Visitation will be held 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 12, at Stewart Baxter and continue one hour prior to services on Monday. Burial will be in the Mount Vernon Cemetery.
