Erin was born on Aug. 19, 1976, in Dubuque, Iowa, to Vaughn and Patricia (Pauly) Kray. Erin graduated from Truman State University in 1998. She worked as the director of human resources at Howard R. Green Company. She met the love of her life at a high school musical 26 years ago. Erin was united in marriage to Michael Dusil on Aug. 23, 2003, in Dubuque, Iowa. She was a devoted mother who tirelessly held her babies, made them meals and guided them to be kindhearted. She always lovingly supported and trusted her husband. Erin was admired by many at home, work, and she was a cherished partner and the family’s North Star.
She learned love and kindness from her mom Pat, and patience and timing from her father, Vaughn. Erin had her father’s smile and her mother’s loving heart. Her sense of humor was unmatched and stayed with her even during the most trying times. Erin was a reliable friend with divine guidance in difficult situations. She will be missed by all.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Dusil; sons, Oliver and Miles Dusil; mother, Patricia (Steve) Althaus; a brother, Steven (Jennifer) Kray; sister-in-law, Karyn (Mike) Kuennen; and extended family and friends.
