Former Iowa quarterback C.J. Beathard was carted off the field Monday and taken to the locker room at the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Organized Team Activities practice Monday.
Beathard was down on the field for several minutes before the cart came out to take him for further examination. He is reported to have a groin injury.
According to NFL Network, Beathard will have an MRI to diagnose the severity of the injury.
