Patty L. Sanborn, 90, of Anamosa, formerly of Olin, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Pinicon Place in Anamosa. Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 2, at Dawson Funeral Services in Olin, where a visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery in rural Anamosa.
Patty Lea was born on September 1, 1931 in Olin, Iowa to Marion and Mary (Zimmerman) Byers. She graduated from Olin High School. On December 24, 1951 she was united in marriage to the love of her life Richard Sanborn in Hazelton, Iowa. Patty enjoyed having coffee and socializing with her friends.
Those left to cherish her memories are her children; Marla (Mike) Harter of Fairbank, Brian (Janet) Sanborn of Anamosa four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
