Sarah Peck Kenney, 43, passed away unexpectedly from a stroke on Friday, May 13, 2022, at Medical City, Plano, Texas.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Tara Hills Country Club, Van Horne, Iowa, on Saturday, June 25 from 3 to 6 p.m. Family and friends are welcome.
Sarah was a beloved wife, mother and daughter who was born to David and Patricia Kenney on June 29, 1978, in Tewksbury, Mass. After attending Tewksbury Schools she continued her education at Dartmouth College.
After graduating from Dartmouth, she obtained her law degree at Washington College of Law at American University. She began her career with law in New York City at K&L Gates, where she worked for 11 years and fulfilled a lifelong dream of becoming Partner.

In 2016, they moved to Frisco, Texas, to join the legal department at JCPenney, where she was recently promoted to Assistant General Counsel - Litigation/Intellectual/Property/Marketing.
Sarah's smile, joy and compassion lit up every room and made everyone who met her feel welcomed and loved. Her selflessness continues as she was an organ donor and will affect many in her name. Knowing her heart beats to this day is a blessing to all. A walk in her memory was held by her family and many friends.
