Wasson is the leader Senate District 42 needs

Before this year, I was not what most would call a highly "political person," but this latest Iowa legislative session has left me frustrated. In short, when a single party controls all three branches of our state government, but fails to fulfill Gov. Kim Reynolds' legislative agenda, it's a sign we need new, real conservative blood in the Legislature. In Linn and Benton Counties, Justin Wasson is the leader we need in Iowa Senate District 42.
Let me be clear, as a small-business owner I am pleased about the new income tax reforms, they're a step in the right direction. But our local economy, as Reynolds and Wasson have discussed at length, needs to be addressed with a holistic approach.
When some Eastern Iowa Republicans openly obstruct plans to usher in school choice legislation, derail efforts to modernize our property tax system and side with woke special interests over parents. It sends a signal our state may not be the best place to invest in, hurting our overall business climate.
Justin Wasson, a small-business owner himself, has endorsed what Reynolds wants for Iowa and in turn I'm proud to endorse him and to ask my neighbors to vote for him in the Republican primary on June 7.
