WILLIS IRA LUSE

Willis Ira Luse, 71, of Eddyville, Iowa, passed away Monday, May 9, 2022, at Vista Woods Care Center in Ottumwa.
He was born Nov. 17, 1950, to Richard and Margaret (Freeman) Luse. Willie graduated from North Linn High School. He married Mary Werner on Sept. 17, 1994. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, mushrooming, scrapping, antiquing and going to the casino.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Luse of Eddyville; father, Richard Luse of Cedar Rapids; children, Michelle (Mark) Hocraffer of Cedar Rapids and Toni (Scott) Delagardelle of Marion; stepchildren, David (Gina) McDonough of rural Eddyville, Danny McDonough of Kirkville and Dee (Ray) Johansen of Newton; six grandchildren, Ben, Liza Delagardelle, Alyssa McDonough, Samantha (Brandon) Jackson, Austin Johansen and Donnie Lindly; four great-grandchildren, Cambrie, Shadow, Morgan and Jett, and one sister, Gloria (Calvin) Waltke of Marion.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Luse; and stepdaughter, Denise Johnson.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, at the Welcome Inn in Eddyville. Memorials may be directed to Central Iowa Outdoors Without Boundaries.
